Hudson Union Architecture Studio, founded in August 2023, is a collaboration between principal architects and life partners Jeff Fuquay and Stephen Lam. With over 20 years of experience each, Jeff and Stephen bring a rich blend of expertise to their work, honed through their previous roles in in established architecture and design firms.
Jeff’s background is rooted in high-end residential architecture, which includes the design of residential apartments, lobbies and amenity spaces. In contrast, Stephen’s experience is grounded in interior design, commercial office spaces, and the hospitality industry, adding a balanced, yet unexpected dimension to their practice.
Together, they craft contemporary, utilitarian spaces with modern appeal, distinguished by thoughtful and often unexpected design details. Their approach is driven by a passion for problem solving and always striving to deliver architectural solutions that are both creative and tailored to their clients’ specific needs.
